"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:33-34
"One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." Psalm 27:4
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will not pass away." Matthew 24:35
"My heart says of you. 'Seek his face!' Your face, Lord, I will seek." Psalm 27:8
Im blessed by today's sermon (: it reminded me of the way back to Jesus, our first love and prayer is an invitation from God as Jeremiah 33:3 says "Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." and it is true that sometimes our prayer can be a selfish one where we remember the gifts that we want God to give us and ultimately we forgot about the giver, the one who created us.
Intentions must be followed by actions. indeed the Lord blesses and the Lord takes away.
we have to be fix our eyes on jesus and not on things around. remember to pray and love.
