I want to DREAM
Been Hiding
Somewhere in the Middle
Somewhere between the new and the old
Somewhere between who I am and who I used to be
Somewhere in the middle, You'll find me
Somewhere between the wrong and the right
Somewhere between the darkness and the light
Somewhere between who I was and who You're making me
Somewhere in the middle, You'll find me
Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender without losing all control
Fearless warriors in a picket fence, reckless abandon wrapped in common sense
Deep water faith in the shallow end and we are caught in the middle
With eyes wide open to the differences, the God we want and the God who is
But will we trade our dreams for His or are we caught in the middle
Are we caught in the middle
Somewhere between my heart and my hands
Somewhere between my faith and my plans
Somewhere between the safety of the boat and the crashing waves
Somewhere between a whisper and a roar
Somewhere between the altar and the door
Somewhere between contented peace and always wanting more
Somewhere in the middle You'll find me
Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender without losing all control
Lord, I feel You in this place and I know You're by my side
Loving me even on these nights when I'm caught in the middle

Will we ever then be contented with what we have? Or will the choices in our lives make us question the value of what we have? Perhaps like what others got it right when they says that happiness is not about the better things that you can get in life but “the most efficacious way to gain happiness today is for people to focus on the present.”
Life seems vulnerable. We might be hard-pressed on every side, crushed, perplexed, in despair, persecuted, abandoned, struck down, destroyed, but I believe that everything happens for a reason. because faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. ultimately, God is the planner of our lives, He would want the best for us and not bring harm to us.
"Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me." Psalm 54:4
"I called to God, and the Lord saves me." Psalm 55:16
"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall." Psalm 55:22
"Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint, lead me to the rock that is higher than me. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge to the shelter of your wings." Psalm 61:1-4
